The Reaching Our Youth Institute (ROYI)
The Reaching Our Youth Institute (ROYI), funded by the federal Compassion Capital Fund, is a capacity building initiative to help youth-serving faith-based and community organizations increase their capacity to serve youth more efficiently and effectively.
The Reaching Our Youth Institute provides:
1. Capacity building trainings covering Leadership Development, Organization Development, Revenue Development Strategies, Program Development and Community Engagement. Interested organizations must be enrolled as Members of the ROYI to be eligible to take these no-cost trainings. Click here to download the Membership Enrollment Form.
2. Training and technical assistance in completing both an organizational assessment and program quality assessment to identify areas of opportunity for growth.*
3. Up to 50 hours of consulting services to address at least two of the areas of need identified in the assessment.*
4. Cash sub-awards of up to $20,000 for capacity building projects.*
5. Access to a professional support network for organizational leaders including the Executive Director and Board President.*
*These services are available on a competitive basis to eligible organizations. The 2008 deadline to apply is March 3, 2008.
